Canyon Fraser

The Fraser Canyon is located in Labrador. Deposited by float plane in 2011, François Léger-Savard and Jean-Philippe Messier explored the ecotourism potential of the sector. They travelled for over a week in the plateaus bordering the canyon, sometimes 2000 feet deep. In order to get their collapsible boat previously left on the bank of the Fraser River, they had to perform a dangerous descent. Then followed a canoe trip up to the Labrador Sea to reach a small Inuit village called Nain, the northernmost of the province.

François shows us a little known and very little frequented area where wildlife is king.
